Nelson 40/42 built in 1972 and completed by Guernsey Boat Building, Skeabost was built to a very high standard, but now is in need of a full cometic refurbishment. A recent survey of her Nov 2022 concludes " The hull and superstructure of the Nelson 40 motor cruiser called 'Skeabost' was found to be structurally sound at the time of the survey. Remarks : This classic 1966 Nelson 40 is a fine sea boat and is powered by a 1984 Perkins 120hp shaft driven diesel engine with about 4000 engine hours. She has a strong GRP hull and marine plywood decks and superstructure. Her inventory includes generator, windlass, hot water, chart plotter and more.
